Active Minds’ programs and resources focus on mental health awareness and suicide prevention for young adults. In one year, we reached more than 1.9 million students through campus awareness campaigns and events, and positively impacted more than 1,000 communities, workplaces, and campus environments nationwide.

Active Minds is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, with primary offices in Washington, DC. All donations to Active Minds are tax deductible.

We need to feel comfortable having more of these open conversations so more people can find other people like them. That’s why a lot of people see suicide as an option, because they think they’re alone. No matter how many people you’re around, if you don’t have people you can talk to, then you’re still going to feel alone.
