Social Hour Entry (5:00pm-6:30pm)
Full Dinner Buffet (Open 5:30pm-6:30pm)
Conference Evening Program (6:30pm-9:00pm)

Following Hill Day, everyone will gather at the hotel for a time of community, learning, and celebration of advocacy. There will be a social hour that will feature interactive exhibits, a special swag bag, an opportunity to get professional headshots taken for free, a quality buffet dinner and so much more.
This will then lead into the evening program where attendees will hear from Active Minds Founder and Executive Director, Alison Malmon, a panel of young adult mental health advocates, and this year’s exciting keynote presentation, a live podcast recording of the “She Persisted” podcast with host Sadie Sutton and guest Hailey Hardcastle.
“I left thinking a lot about my own mental health and my journey to advocacy. I felt very grateful to be reminded why I got into this work and to see that many others are still working hard and beautifully passionate!”

Active Minds has proudly established a reputation of bringing you exciting keynotes and panels of young adult advocates and professional leaders. They shared their mental health journeys; not only to inspire, but to remind the world that no matter who you are, we’re all human and all have mental health. This year is no different.
Our highly anticipated annual conference brings together hundreds of young adults and mental health advocates from across the country to share ideas and advance knowledge about mental health education, advocacy, and awareness.
This year, the conference will showcase the most innovative and effective approaches for youth and young adults to mobilize to transform how mental health is valued and prioritized on campuses, in schools, in the transition to the workplace, and within our communities. This includes the first ever Hill Day (which has SOLD OUT for 2026!), where attendees will go to Capitol Hill and break out into teams to meet with various representatives from Congress to advocate for vital mental health policies.
This is the largest conference in the nation for young adult advocates! Most of our attendees are ages 18-25, and we welcome all who want to champion a new era of mental health.
“My major takeaway was that boundaries and self-care are so essential as a Gen Z-er experiencing the mental health crisis. We have to advocate because we are all in crisis but that doesn’t mean we can’t set boundaries about how we talk about it.”

This year has an exciting NEW element where full day attendees will go to Capitol Hill to meet and speak with various representatives about mental health and supporting legislative goals being led by Active Minds. This is a rare opportunity that is only available to those who registered for the full day of the Active Minds Hill Day + Mental Health Conference 2026.
Full day registration has SOLD OUT, but a limited number of evening activities only tickets (not including Hill Day) are available now.
