About the conference

Our highly anticipated annual conference brings together hundreds of young adults and mental health advocates from across the country to share ideas and advance knowledge about mental health education, advocacy, and awareness.

The conference will showcase the most innovative and effective approaches for youth and young adults to mobilize to transform how mental health is valued and prioritized on campuses, in schools, in the transition to the workplace, and within our communities.

For Students & Young Adults

This is the largest conference in the nation for young adult advocates! Most of our attendees are ages 18-25, and we welcome all who want to champion a new era of mental health.

“I left thinking a lot about my own mental health and my journey to advocacy. I felt very grateful to be reminded why I got into this work and to see that many others are still working hard and beautifully passionate!”

What to Expect

There’s nothing quite like the energy of an Active Minds Mental Health Conference.

Over the course of two powerful days, you’ll join hundreds of young adults, advocates, and mental health leaders for an experience designed to inform, inspire, and ignite the power of storytelling.

Panel Discussions

Our panels invites you to explore the power of storytelling as a catalyst for change. Hear from a dynamic group of changemakers on how personal narratives can challenge systems and inspire action; one story, one person at a time. Together, we’ll explore how collective voices and shared experiences can drive lasting impact and build a more just future.

Breakout Sessions

These interactive sessions are where the real work happens. Through hands-on activities, guided reflection, and group collaboration, you’ll deepen your understanding of systems-level change and learn how to use your story as a tool for impact.

Exhibits

Our exhibit area is more than just a walk-through; it’s a space to discover new tools, resources, and opportunities to take your advocacy further. Swing by during breaks to meet partners and grab materials that can help fuel your next steps.

Networking Opportunities

Whether you’re sharing breakfast, joining a mindfulness session, or bonding over zine-ing, the conference is full of moments to connect. You’ll have plenty of chances to meet peers, mentors, and movement leaders who are just as passionate as you are.

Become A Sponsor

Join the mental health movement by supporting young adult advocates as a sponsor or exhibitor, which offers your organization an unparalleled opportunity to reach passionate students and young adults.
