What's your favorite way to unplug?

For me, it's as simple as walking. I walk almost everywhere! This builds in time for me to recharge my batteries before, after, and between errands and events. Does it count as unplugged if I'm listening to podcasts while I walk?

As Director of Community Fundraising, Amanda leads strategic growth for peer-to-peer campaigns, community fundraising, workplace giving, and large-scale signature events.

Amanda is a native of St. Petersburg, FL, but has lived in Boston for over four years. She joins Active Minds with eight years of experience in development, event planning, and fundraising for multiple organizations, most recently the American Cancer Society. Amanda is an alum of the University of Florida (Go Gators!) where her love for fundraising was nurtured by involvement with Children’s Miracle Network and March of Dimes.

When she’s not at work, Amanda can be found trying new restaurants, specifically searching for $1 oyster deals.
