What's your favorite way to unplug?
Deborah Shoola joins Active Minds with a background in social impact, program administration, event planning, and mental health advocacy. As a member of the Community Programs team, she is working to change the way mental health is talked about, cared for, and valued across society. Originally from Texas, Deborah holds a Master of Public Health degree specialized in Health Behavior with a certificate in Innovation for the Public Good from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience and Global Health from Northwestern University. Prior to Active Minds, Deborah supported program design, development, and implementation of initiatives aimed at addressing social isolation and loneliness. In her free time, you can find Deborah at the movie theatre, thrift shopping, or spending quality time with family and friends.
