What's your favorite way to unplug?
Kristelle Aisaka is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) with over a decade of experience in designing, implementing, evaluating, and scaling mental health programs and initiatives. Most recently, they led data and evaluation work at The Jed Foundation, helping the organization and its partners understand and quantify how comprehensive approaches to mental health and suicide prevention protect emotional health and prevent suicide among youth and young adults. After being involved with Active Minds as a past chapter member and chapter advisor, she is excited to come back into the fold as Active Minds’ VP of Measurement, helping to define and direct the innovative, rigorous, and equity-centered research and evaluation of our programs and impact.
Kristelle earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, as well as their Master of Social Work and Master of Public Health degrees, from Washington University in St. Louis. Originally from ‘Aiea, Hawai’i, she now resides in northern New Jersey, where she spends her free time learning new crafting skills and hanging out with her two cats – sometimes at the same time.
