Mike Wiegand

Mike Wiegand, a Virginia resident and native, joins Active Minds with a background in Therapeutic Recreation and Non-Profit event management. Mike has spent his professional career working with impact driven nonprofit organizations to deliver a wide range of events from building playgrounds for families fighting pediatric cancer and underserved communities, to managing adaptive sports programs for individuals with disabilities and veterans. He received his Bachelors of Science degree from Longwood University and enjoys traveling to new places and cooking good food for his friends.
